Aleister Crowley was an accomplished man all around. He was a mountain climber, poet, chess player and writer. However, Aleister Crowley is commonly known as an influential occult magician (or Satanist by some) of modern times.
Aleister Crowley had (and still has) many admirers who saw him as a prophet of the new age, whose goal was a spiritual awakening for himself as well as all human kind. His unique spiritual message and uncommon behavior led to misunderstandings and contempt. His critics denounced him as a Satanist, a drug addict and a sex maniac. The trash rag magazines of his day labeled him a Black Magician, The Wickedest Man in the World and The Man Wed Like to Hang.
It also didn’t help ease the concerns of his critics that he called himself, The Great Beast. Aleister Crowley is still a great influence in the Spiritual world today.

@ Eddie nothing wrong with questioning life and religion but is it necessary for men to fuck other men, eat shit,and make children watch you fuck to do so? This man was a sick demented drug addicted pervert if I was on heroin,peyote,hashish and all the other shit he took I might think I saw Satan, demons and think I could do magic too.In the end he destroyed many lives including one of his wives with his lifestyle and beliefs.He died old,sick and poor like a mere mortal where was his magic and Satan then?
